The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.
God was doing life w Moses.
Jon has noticed a temptation to forget about relationships. After awhile you get tired... the temptation is to check out. It does something to your soul. Resist the urge. Work at them. Work @ friendship. It going to take time. It takes forgiveness and repetition ....
The Bible doesn't work outside of community.
We've all been wounded. Noone is perfect- cut everyone some slack.
Resist the urge to isolate yourself...
Jon friends make his life better...
Jesus was a friend... Paul was in deep connection w people.
Jon gave example of his friendship w Matthew Kennedy .... he challenged him.
Paul challenged him too.
That's what friendship is... practice that.(NIV)John 13:34
