9/11/11 @ All Nations Church in Phoenix, Az
http://anconline.org/index1.html

Started w memorial of 9/11/01 Honor those who have fallen... honor those victims and heroes...

Can someone be a Christian on a desert island?

Can u be in an amusement park and be lonely?

We need relationship ... what's the greatest commandment?

(A series of "one another's "... a lot of verses with admonitions for one another).... So important and emphasized where God's heart is.. we called to be in one anothers lives...

talking about small groups... They're important for building relationships and growth. Caring for members and reaching out to the community.... a story about a small church.

A Sunday morning lecture is not enough. Christianity sub culture is subversive to main culture.

  1. Monologue is not enough for spiritual fuel in your life....
    (NIV)Acts 2:46
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,

What they were doing in their homes.

    God is a relational God.
I.e. how Jesus met the disciples ...
Small group continuum .... start where people are..

Some examples of small group w some people coming up & talking about them. http://anconline.org/smgroups.html

Intros to the small groups by the leaders...

    Last point...
A little backstory of Jason's life...

God's perfect will is that you love Him.
    Talking about small group impact.

Breakng the time barrier... "Who's got time for small groups? "
    Illus w the sound barrier...
Challenge: break the time barrier w small groups. Find some way for your life to rub up against some other's.
What type of small group are you available for ?

    Felt groups
    Affinity
    Passions
    Spiritual hunger
    Service oriented tasks

    All great motivations.
To fulfill the one anothers from the Word.

    Growing people through small groups...
