They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
For the kids.... a special msg for them :)
Talking about the early church and praying... what ppl pray for.. "we can talk to God all the time..." "I will pray for you... Let's pray." Pray for your church family... pray for Katie Tiffany... and Bailey (who fell off the podium )... thanking God for Katie for her being a teacher...

Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. [42] They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. [43] Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. [44] All the believers were together and had everything in common. [45] Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. [46] Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, [47] praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
They were devtoed...to the teachings, to each other..
When we do that we make ourselvez vulnerable ....
There needs to be an art of balance...
Love God, love others... love yourself...
We need to live biblically balanced lifestyles...
You can't love God if you don't love others..
In the beginning ... Adam & Eve...
Paradise w the mother of all living things and Adam (Humanity)...
Revelation New City...
Image of flowing water in both.... and community...
We want to connect that way..
What happened to humanity?
Paradise broken...
Four circles
Spiritual alienation ..spiritual disconnection from God....
Originally a connection w God...
After Adam eats he becomes aware of his nakedness... God asked qs to lead to his healing...
When does a child become aware of his nakedness... ? When do we?
When do we feel embarrassed to come to God? Unclean?

Our mission in our church to our community and the World iz to share the connection to God....
(NIV)Luke 5:31-32
Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. [32] I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
2nd circle- the realization that we were not ok.
We try on different pplz personality....
Acts 2 devoted to one another...
3rd circle... social alienation... relationships are really difficult..... blame shifting started...
Acts 2 was a community .... but they still had problems...
Can u imagine a community that practiced forgiveness...
They loved and forgived in community...
4th circle... nature changed.... toiling w nature... God loves the earth... He's entrusted it w us....
How do we approach alienation? Talk about Jesus... to remind ppl that God is for you when others are against you...
